This is where we’re stuck. So many of us feel the pressure from society, from our peers and most especially from our families. There is so much pressure to be happy, upbeat and to do it ALL!
We get steamrolled by the advertising and hype. We have to buy presents for this person and that person. It is so easy in this overwhelming time to just lose yourself, to lose your power and lose sight of why you’re here and what you’re supposed to be doing.
Stop focusing on the expectations, the advertising and the craziness … just let it go.
Instead, commit to yourself. Commit to nurture yourself and allow these miracles to be at the forefront of your experience rather than society’s expectations.
We get in our own way. We lose our POWER and feel like we are supposed to do things rather than really BE in the moment. The moment of the MIRACLE that is right NOW!
If you’re not committing to be you and to fully own what it is you want to do with your time and energy than that’s when things go haywire!
Self-care is so critical at this time of year … whether it is taking a bath at the end of the night, reading a good book or getting out and exercising.
